Virtual trip through the Bourgogne

Toison d’Or celebrates its 20th anniversary with a Ventuz installation.

For the celebration of their 20th anniversary, the commercial center La Toison d'Or of Dijon seeked a modern and technologically innovative way to entertain the guests of this festive event. Among the various activities offered by Mobidium and the agency PLC for this occasion, there is the Panorama 222° (photo). The device allows visitors to dive and navigate through the landscape of the Bourgogne, all by a simple wave of the hand.





To make this possible, Mobidium deployed a video projection of 20m x 3m in 240°, 4 VP DLP, UC MobiBOX T5500 using a ATI V8800 HD with 4 outputs. The soft-edging management, distortion of the images and the realization of the browser interface have been developed with Ventuz. A rotating laser allows the user to control the content through the magic of gesture.
