R5.16 Release

 
We are proud to announce that Ventuz R5.16 is available for download.
New features include: an enhanced shaping editor for faster and easier screen shaping and warping functionality, a new and improved content editor, and the possibility to group content nodes into families.
 


Enhanced Screen Shaping Editor

The new Remote Screen Shaping Editor fills the gaps. Corner pinning, Key-Stone, Scaling and Rotation are only a few features of the enhanced editor. New test patterns make the screen shaping fast and easy. Also the the curved gamma ramp for edge blending is a milestone of the Ventuz multi screen functionality.


Enhanced Content Editor

The Content Editor can now seamlessly zoomed, as well the new "Content Families" improves the node layout drastically! The new tool-tips on binding connections give more details information about the actual data flow!

Seamless zoom in Content Editor by turning the mouse wheel.
 
FEATUREF458Content Nodes can now be grouped into 'Families' by pressing Ctrl-Shift-F or by selecting the 'Create Family' menu under 'Node'. Content Families help to keep nodes together in functional groups. Nodes of families don't interfere each other if the CE is automatically re-arranging the items!

The MouseOver/HitTest nodes output the distance to the hit mesh to distinguish multiple hits of meshes which lie behind each other. This value lies between 0 and 100 if a hit occures. Otherwise it is set to -1.

The Windows Key node now supports the ability to receive all keys, if the key property is set to "None". Also, the KeyCode of the last received/processed key is available as a new output property.
